Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze No. 2 S.A. are the main partner of the Polish Air Force supporting and providing for the operation of the Polish Air Force aircraft, including Su-22, MiG-29 and C-130 Hercules.

WZL No. 2 S.A. have drawn on our experts' previous design and executive experience in numerous upgrades of equipment operated by the Polish Air Force. As part of Poland entering NATO, it was necessary to upgrade aircraft by furnishing them with advanced systems compatible with these utilized by coalition partners. To that ebd, WZL No. 2 S.A. the company carried out the upgrade of MiG-29, Su-22, TS-11, Mi-17, Mi-8, Mi-2 aircraft and rotorcraft equpping them in GPS, TACAN, VOR/ILS systems, anti-collision lights, UHF/VHF transceivers, KT/IFF transponders and others.
In 2007 we carried out a deep upgrade of Su-22 aircraft operated by the National Air Force of Angola. It included the installation and integration of new mission computer, EGI laser platform, HUD, multifunction display, to name a few.
In the years 2011-2014, as part of a contract concluded with MOD, on 16 Polish Air Force MiG-29 aircraft advanced avionics systems are being integrated, and open architecture is developed based on the new mission computer and MIL BUS 1553 B data bus.
In November 2011 a prototype overhaul of Mi-8 helicopter, altogether with overhaul life extension and upgrade, was completed. The company has been qualified to carry out serial overhaul of this type of helicopter.
